Reception

Wednesday, July 27, Crieve Hall Church of Christ (4806 Trousdale Dr, Nashville, TN 37220)

5 - 6:30 p.m. Reception (5:30 p.m. & 6:15 p.m. Presidential Address). The reception is come-and-go, or guests are welcome to stay for the entire time.

7 p.m. President Shannon — Opening Speaker for the Connect Conference (full schedule of Connect Conference speakers)

8:30 p.m. Congregational Singing Led by FHU Student Jesse Eaton
The Mobile Information Center will be set up in the parking lot and ready to receive guests with Moon Pies and Coca-Colas beginning at 8 p.m. and will remain available until after the congregational singing.

1. Who can attend? All alumni, friends, and prospective students of FHU and their families.

2. Reception Event Details:

-Heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served

-President Shannon will offer state of the school addresses at 5:30 p.m. & 6:15 p.m.

-Admissions representatives will be on hand to greet guests, answer questions and assist prospective student families

-FHU scholarships will be given away

-FHU Associates will have a presence with information about forming chapters and their signature F.H. Brew teas and coffees available for purchase

-FHU Passage, our new program designed to assist students in finding their path to professional purpose, will be present to recruit volunteers

-FHU Dual Enrollment and Graduate Studies programs will be on hand to share information with their respective audiences

-Photo stations will be set up and a professional photographer from Bramblett Group will be on hand to provide pictures that will be available for download following the event at photos.fhu.edu

3. Attire for the event? Casual and comfortable. This is not a formal/semi-formal event. We wish for all guests to come as they are and enjoy the evening.

4. Are children invited to this event? YES! This is an event for the entire FHU family, which means everyone in your family and any family is invited to attend.

5. How does one RSVP for the event? Anyone wishing to attend can email their attendance plans to alumni@fhu.edu (clicking the attendance option on the Facebook event is not an official RSVP. However, I will be monitoring the event page and trying to add those who click the attendance option to the official guest list).
