Q. What is Connect Conference?
A. Connect Conference is an event that was held in June 2021 at Crieve Hall church of Christ in Nashville, TN. The overall theme of this event was “Disciples Making Disciples” and was focused on us as Christians going “into all the world” and making disciples and bringing others to Christ.
Q. How did you decide on the colors for the logo?
A. You may think this is a silly question but there is actually meaning behind the colors chosen. The very fact that the sky is blue stands for the presence of God. We know that the water on Earth is mostly blue and that land is typically shown as a green color. Green also represents growth, prosperity, or a new beginning. The same concept can apply to the Connect Conference. In Matthew 28, we are commanded to “Go and make disciples of all nations.” We are to go into all the world and make disciples and grow the church, whether that is our next door neighbor or someone across the ocean on another continent!
Q. Where is this conference located at?
A. This conference is held at Crieve Hall church of Christ, 4806 Trousdale Dr, Nashville, TN 37220.
Q. Will there be kids classes?
A. Yes, we will be offering a kids program for all children up to 5th grade during the evening sessions on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:30-8:00PM. Please visit www.connectcon.org/kids for more info.
Q. Can I watch this conference live?
A. Yes! The keynote speakers are LIVE STREAMED to our YouTube page and the Connect Conference page. The classes will be recorded and uploaded in the near future once the event concludes. As with anything, there can always be technical problems that come up and have to be addressed in the moment, so please be patient if this occurs. Previous classes/speakers have been archived here.
Q. What restaurants are near Crieve Hall?
A. There are MANY places that you can go within 4-7 minutes of Crieve Hall church of Christ. You can check out that list here.
Q. What do I do when I arrive?
A. When you first arrive at the conference, you will come in the the side entrances (where the back parking lot is) and come to the check-in booth inside the building. You will be able to get a name tag and schedule packet. Someone will be there that can assist you with any questions you may have.
